This week our Preschool friends celebrated the Week of the Young Child, an annual spotlight on early learning, child development, their teachers, families and communities. Students enjoyed activities centered around a different daily theme: on Musical Monday they made diy tambourines, shakers, and rain sticks for a musical parade; on Tasty Tuesday students enjoyed a yogurt bar, created friendship faces out of rice cakes, and held their own lemonade stand; on Work Together Wednesday friends held a car wash and staged a post office; on Artsy Thursday students made easel paintings and WOTYC pennants to hang around their classrooms; Family Fun Friday capped off a fun filled week, and Preschool students, families, and staff came together for a picnic lunch catered by Fred from Mr. Jiffy’s. Bravo to our Preschool teachers and staff for making this such a fun, interactive, and thoughtful week for our students and families.
