Dear 8th Grade Families,

As promised, we are excited to share an update with you on our upcoming 8th Grade Trip!
As a recap, here is the information previously shared along with new information we have confirmed:

Location: New York City in an AirBnB. The 8th Grade class has collectively voted to go to New York City. They overwhelmingly wanted to explore a big city like New York together. 

We have booked an Airbnb accommodations at the following address:
527 WEST 162 STREET

New York, NY 10032

Dates/Times:  Tuesday, May 28th-Friday, May 31st departing from LAX. Transportation will be provided from TCS to LAX. (more details to follow) 

Tentative Activities: The 8th grade and I will be working together to make sure the activities meet the needs of students and our objectives for the grade's time together. Here is a tentative list of activities:

• Statue of Liberty, Times Square, M&M Museum 

• Tour of Jimmy Fallon Studio 

• Empire State Building, Metropolitan Museum

• Central Park, High Line, Hudson Yards, 9/11 memorial, Zoo

Thank you to all who submitted your consent form in January. Because of your responses we have planned on all students attending.

Cost: The total cost for families is  $400 per family. Student council will continue to fundraise until the trip date approaches to ensure that we can maximize our activities while in New York.

 Payment can be made in full or installments. Please submit 1st payment by no later than Friday, April  12th as we will be purchasing plane tickets the following week.
