Dear Future TCS Family, 

At The Country School, we believe education is more than preparation for what lies ahead, it is the art of becoming. Every child arrives with infinite potential, and our role is to cultivate the confidence, compassion, and curiosity that will carry them through a complex and changing world. We do this not only through rigorous academics, but through relationships, joy, and the steady belief that every learner’s voice matters.

This year, I found myself living that truth in a deeply personal way. I dropped off my own children, Roxanna at USC and Tommy at the University of Redlands. It was a milestone filled with pride, gratitude, and awe. And while I felt all the emotions that come with letting go, I was not worried. I knew I was sending out into the world two extraordinary human beings, self-advocates, collaborators, dreamers, and doers because of the foundation they had built here at The Country School.

That is what TCS gives families: not only knowledge, but character; not only skills, but purpose. Our graduates embody resilience, empathy, and integrity. They know how to listen, how to lead, and how to shape the future with courage and creativity. They are not simply prepared for college, they are prepared for life.
