Once TCS becomes part of your life, it stays with you forever.

My roots here run decades deep. My brother and I both attended The Country School, and I had the privilege of growing up within these very classrooms. The school helped shape me into the person I am today. The values I hold dear — kindness, resilience, curiosity, friendship — were nurtured here. My mother devoted four decades of her life to this school, and years later, my own children carried on that legacy as TCS students themselves. I am living proof that once you are part of this community, it becomes part of your story in the most meaningful way.

The friendships formed here last a lifetime. I am still in daily contact with one of my closest friends from TCS, a bond that has spanned nearly four decades. That is the power of a place that teaches children not only how to think, but how to care. TCS instills in its students the ability to be good friends, good leaders, and good humans — to see the good in others and to understand that uniqueness is a gift to be celebrated.
