Middle School Retreat - Wildlife Kayak Tour and Team-Building Program
Dear Middle School Families,
We’re thrilled to welcome your students back to school with a spectacular first week of connection, excitement, and community-building—and we’re ending it with an exciting adventure as part of our Middle School Retreat!
On Friday, September 5th, we’re heading to Santa Barbara Harbor for a guided Wildlife Kayak Tour and Team-Building Program with our friends at Santa Barbara Adventure Company. This full-day field trip is designed to help students build trust, try something new, and kick off the year with laughter, teamwork, and a shared sense of adventure.
Cost:
$100 per student
This includes all kayaking gear (paddle jacket, PFD, kayak), trained guides, on-water games.
This trip is required for all Middle School students and will be supervised by faculty and trained kayak guides. It’s a safe, accessible, and unforgettable way to start the year with purpose, connection, and joy.
Parent Support Needed:We’re looking for a few parent volunteers to drive students and hang out on land while the group is out on the water. If you’re available and interested, please let us know—we’d love to have your help!
We’ll follow up with a permission form soon. If you have any questions in the meantime, don’t hesitate to reach out.
