Thank you for joining us as we kicked off the Chess Team this week! We wanted to share an important update:

Chess will now meet on Mondays after school instead of Wednesdays. We’re making this shift because competitions are held on Mondays, and we want our team’s practice schedule to align with match days.

Key Details:

• Practice Day: Mondays after school, beginning next week

• Competition Season: The first match is the week of October 6th, and we play every week until the week of December 15th. The second season starts February 2nd and ends on the week of April 27th. 

• Cost: $125 for the full school year

• Format: In-person practice on boards, online competitions

Since a few students were trying Chess out this week, we’d like to confirm rosters. Please let me know if your child will be committing to the team for the full season. Once the TCS Store is live, you’ll also be able to complete payment there.
