We are delighted to share some wonderful news from yesterday’s Private School Village Honors Awards Celebration.
Please join us in congratulating Kofi Thomas, who was recognized as the Teacher of the Year recipient, an honor that reflects his exceptional dedication to students, excellence in teaching, and profound impact on our school community.
Anyone who knows Kofi understands that this recognition is richly deserved. Every day, he brings passion, creativity, wisdom, and care to his work with students. He challenges young people to grow, encourages them to believe in themselves, and creates learning experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and achievement.
Great teachers leave lasting impressions not only through what they teach, but through how they make students feel seen, valued, and capable. Kofi exemplifies these qualities and has become a trusted mentor, respected colleague, and beloved member of our community.
As Head of School, I am deeply grateful for Kofi’s leadership, commitment, and the countless ways he contributes to the life of our school. His influence reaches far beyond the classroom and enriches our entire community.
