Thank you to the Suckarie and the Vargas-Wiltshire families for sharing their cultural roots through story and music, and to everyone who prepared such delicious food for our students!

Because of You We Soared:
$90,462 Raised in Just 3 Weeks!
In just three weeks, our community came together in a truly remarkable way. Because of your generosity, and the inspiring leadership of our Lead Donor, Bow Barris, we raised an incredible $90,462, with 88 donors and an outstanding 78%family participation rate.
We are profoundly grateful to Bow for inspiring our families not only to give, but to give generously. Her leadership set the tone for what became a powerful demonstration of collective belief in The Country School and our mission.
We are also thankful to an anonymous donor who, inspired by the Barris match, stepped forward to further challenge our community with an additional $10,000. This unexpected act of generosity energized the campaign and underscored the momentum and shared commitment that carried us across the finish line.
What makes this achievement especially meaningful is not just the total raised, but how it was accomplished. New families made their first gifts to TCS. Many families chose to give again, deepening their support. Longtime friends of the school reaffirmed their belief in our work. Every gift, no matter the size, mattered, and together they created something extraordinary. I am also proud to share that two classes reached 100% participation, a powerful reflection of the generosity and unity within our community.
Soar in ’26 & Beyond represents more than a fundraising effort. It reflects our shared vision for the future of TCS: a school that continues to grow thoughtfully, invest boldly, and provide an exceptional educational experience for every child. As we celebrate this success, we also warmly invite families who have not yet participated to consider making a gift at any level. Each contribution helps us move closer to our goal of 100% parent participation, and every gift truly makes a difference.
To everyone who has participated, thank you. Your generosity directly supports our faculty, programs, and the vibrant learning environment that makes The Country School such a special place. I am continually inspired by this community and deeply grateful for the trust you place in our school.
Together, we soared and the future ahead is brighter because of you.

Help Us Reach 100% Class Participation
Let’s get every class to 100%.
First Grade is leading the way and is positioned to become the first class to reach 100% participation, a huge milestone worth celebrating. Now, we invite families across all grades to join in and help us get every class across the finish line.
Participation at any level matters. Every gift, every pledge, and every family who takes part strengthens our community and brings us closer to our shared goal of 100% participation.

Love, gratitude and appreciation are in the air and our Middle School Student Council is ready to help students spread it around campus!
This Valentine’s Day, students can surprise friends, classmates, and teachers with Valentine’s Day Grams: beautiful flowers delivered during the school day, complete with a personalized note. It’s a fun, thoughtful way to celebrate the day while supporting a great cause.
All proceeds from Valentine’s Day Gram sales will help fund the annual 8th Grade Field Trip, making every rose a little extra meaningful. All flowers have been purchased by local street vendors as a way to uplift our surrounding community.
What can students choose from?
Each gram includes a personalized note and one of the following flower options:
Whether it’s a sweet note for a friend, a thank-you for a teacher, or a little Valentine’s surprise “just because,” these grams are sure to make hearts happy across campus.
More details about ordering and delivery will be coming soon. Thank you for helping our students spread kindness, joy, and a little Valentine’s Day cheer—all while supporting our 8th graders!
With love,
The Middle School Team
