TCS DISTANCE Learning

We are dedicated to progressive learning that is rewarding, empowering, revelatory, and fun.

As individuals and as a community, we know that we will get through this together, stronger than ever before. In the midst of this crisis, we acknowledge and embrace this opportunity to discover ourselves, new learning methodologies, proof of our resilience, and gratitude for one another.

The Country School is here for you

We have many resources for our families to access to use in conjunction with our Distance Learning program.

Setting a stage for Distance Learning:

  • Set a schedule - Staying ahead by planning ahead will help support focused work time for parents as well as an independent learning time for your students.

  • Take advantage of any recorded classes teachers offer. Recorded lessons can be returned to at any time, which allows students who may need more time and repeated viewings.

  • Don’t be afraid to ask your child’s teacher questions about the assignments. This is new territory for many of us, so there will undoubtedly be questions about how to approach lessons. We are in this together, and our teachers continue to partner with parents to distance learn successfully.

  • Remember to set boundaries. Routines are vital not just for our children, but also for ourselves. Make sure to be clear when you are in a “do not disturb” moment, and always make adequate work space for both you and your children.
