Application Process and Forms
Thank you for your interest in The Country School. The following information will assist you with the application process for each division. Please feel free to call the Admissions Office if you have any questions.
Preschool Application Process
Step 1: Schedule a Tour
Group Preschool tours are available at various times throughout the year by request. To schedule a time and day to tour our Preschool, please fill out the following form below and our Admissions Coordinator will get back to you shortly.
Step 2: Complete an Application
Once you have toured our campus, complete and submit an application along with a picture of your child and a non-refundable $150.00 application fee.
Step 3: Submit Recommendation Forms to Current Preschool
If your child is applying for Pre-Kindergarten and has attended another school, please submit the following forms to you child’s current preschool for completion:
Confidential Teacher Recommendation PK-K
Confidential Administrator Recommendation

Elementary School Application Process
Step 1: Schedule a Tour
Individual or small group tours can be scheduled at your convenience through the Admissions Office by contacting (818) 769-2511.
Step 2: Complete an Application
Complete and submit an application along with a picture of your child and a non-refundable $150 application fee
Application deadline is January 18th, 2019 for the 2019-2020 School Year.
Kindergarten - Grade 8 Application
Step 3: Submit Recommendation Forms to Current School
The following forms should be submitted to your child's current school:
Confidential Teacher Recommendation PK-K
Confidential Teacher Recommendation 1-5
Confidential Administrator Recommendation
Once these forms have been completed, they will be mailed directly to The Country School. All forms are due no later than February 1, 2019.
Step 4: Schedule a Visit for your child
All applicants for Kindergarten will be observed at their Preschool. Dates will be scheduled in January and the observations will take place mid-January and February.
All applicants for Grades 1-5 will be scheduled for ½ day classroom visit. Students will spend time with their current grade-level peers. During this time, students will be included in regular classroom activities and will also be assessed in language arts and math.

Middle School Application Process
Step 1: Schedule a Tour
Individual or small group tours can be scheduled at your convenience through the Admissions Office. Please complete the following form below and our Admissions Coordinator with contact you immediately.
Step 2: Complete an Application
Complete and submit an application along with a picture of your child and a non-refundable $150 application fee
Application deadline is January 19th, 2018 for the 2018-2019 School Year.
Kindergarten - Grade 8 Application
Step 3: Submit Recommendation Forms To Current School
The following forms should be submitted for completion to your child’s current school:
Confidential English Teacher Recommendation Grades 6-8
Confidential Math Teacher Recommendation Grades 6-8
Confidential Administrative Recommendation Grades 6-8
Confidential Transcript Request Grades 6-8
Once these forms have been completed, they will be mailed directly to The Country School. All forms are due no later than January 19, 2018.
Step 4: Schedule a visit for your child
All applicants for Grades 6-8 will be scheduled for a visit that includes as assessment in language arts and math, an interview and a campus tour. During this time, a parent interview will also be conducted. This session generally takes about an hour.
