You know those memories we have from our childhoods? The ones where we went wild in our friends’ backyards, on our grandparents’ farms, or at sleepaway camps? The ones where the usual rules relaxed and our parents let us run free? They are among the very best memories; the ones that say, “this is what it means to be a kid.” Standing on the steps of our family cabin at the TCS Camping trip at El Capitan Campground this past September, I watched those memories form for our kids.

Yale graduate and entrepreneur Greta Caruso attended The Country School from the time she was a preschooler in the Yellow Room until she graduated from 6th grade in 1996. As the older sister of current students Marquez (Grade 1) and Paloma (Grade K), Greta still feels connected to the school, and often gets TCS updates from her dad.
