Application Process and Forms

Thank you for your interest in The Country School.  The following will assist you with the 4-Step Application Process. Please feel free to call the Admissions Office at (818) 769-2511. if you have any questions.


step 1: schedule a tour

step 2: complete application

Once you have toured our campus please print, complete and submit an application for your desired class along with a picture of your child and a non-refundable $150.00 application fee in person or by mail to our Business Manager. Application deadline is January 17th, 2020 for the 2020-2021 School Year.

step 3: submit student forms

The following forms should be printed and submitted to your child's current school:

Confidential Teacher Recommendation PK-K

Confidential Administrator Recommendation

grades 1-5

Confidential Teacher Recommendation 1-5

Confidential Administrator Recommendation

Request for Student Records

grades 6-8

Confidential English Teacher Recommendation Grades 6-8

Once these forms have been completed, they must be mailed directly to The Country School.  All forms are due no later than February 3, 2020

step 4: schedule a visit for your child

PK/K

All applicants for Preschool and Kindergarten will be observed at their Preschool if applicable.  Dates will be scheduled in January and the observations will take place mid-January and February.

Grades 1-5

All applicants for Grades 1-5 will be scheduled for ½ day classroom visit. Students will spend time with their current grade-level peers.  During this time, students will be included in regular classroom activities and will also be assessed in language arts and math.

Grades 6-8

All applicants for Grades 6-8 will be scheduled for a visit that includes as assessment in language arts and math, an interview and a campus tour. During this time, a parent interview will also be conducted. This session generally takes about an hour.
