Emotional Intelligence

When we understand how we think and why we feel, we can then understand those processes in others. When we understand those processes, we can become stronger collaborators, creative thinkers, and better friends and teammates. By understanding the breadth of others' mindsets, we can not only connect more deeply to the present, but look at history and begin to understand the past, deepening studies in the classroom and in life. At The Country School, efforts toward promoting emotional intelligence start in our very youngest classrooms, and extend all the way through to our 8th grade graduates.
